How many think email is more personal then regular mail? Email is instataneous in getting needed answers and mail takes quite a bit longer.
I remember my military service we wrote letters and it would take forever for all of your mail to catch up to wherever you were at in that moment. What are your thoughts on this? Could you live with or without email or regular mail?

( edited for color, I see blue the best, originally posted standard font color by site, post still original )
Email is faster, yet the one thing about it is, you have to take time to spend time on computer.
That's one thing I don't like, even with time on my hands being disabled. I don't like the fact of being here constantly, as it eats up my time. I do have much time to spend time like this, but, how much do I want to spend here, and with that, is this the place I'm supposed to be.
I have found that computer and internet is addicting, or can be, if you let it.
It can rule you. Just like going to the mailbox everyday. How much do you allow that, and is that so important, to get that importance out of that box.
Email is just that. And I have to make decisions about that. How important is this? Even with the speed it has. A pondering to ponder.

`a letter written by a pencil/pen on a piece of paper says a lot more about a person than bits. no offense to internet though, which doesn't need any stimulation to grow more!

`i agree with VRI...
i would be way more impressed by a handwritten letter than i would be if were to recieve an email. email to me should be for business type things. email to me is just too...whats the word?? too business like i guess. getting an email from a friend is just too impersonal. besides...with a letter i dont have to "save a draft" or things like that. if i need to, i can step away from the letter, and i cant really get distracted when writing a letter like i would if i were online. but thats just my opinion.

`I agree that land mail is better but on the other hand with e-mail I can send it anytime of the day and be done with it w/o getting out in nasty weather so I think both have +/-

`Email is for "quickie" chat. Snail mail is better. You actually put thought (as well as yourself) in writing. It is rich and personal.

`I had only 1 pen pal that used to send me letters many years ago and I really miss him. I also don't chat all that well because it goes too fast for me (unless I'm sexting), other than that; email is perfectly fine for me
Send me a message and lets meet!!
