nerd at heart mistaken for a jock I'm pretty tall (6'2") and I have broad shoulders so I look fairly athletic. I work out and play some sports but I'm not a natural and I don't follow sports at all. In fact, I usually don't even know what sport season it is.
I'm not a jock, I'm really a nerd at heart. I love reading, especially sci-fi fantasy (same for movies). I've been a computer programmer since introduced to the Apple II in middle school (ok, that gives away my age, I'm in my early 40s).
I totally lucked out that my favorite hobby turned into a rewarding profession, and now I have a fancy title to go with it.
I love living in the pacific northwest because of my outdoor hobbies, cycling, backpacking, kayaking, and sailing.
