Greetings from the Netherlands It would be nice to find some penfriends in this way.
I have many hobbies and interests, including animals, travelling, going for long walks in the countryside with my dog, reading, painting, the arts, photography, some sport, various types of music, history and current affairs. Also penpalling is one of my hobbies. I find it interesting to "meet" people I would never hear about otherwise and to learn about life and ideas elsewhere. I like to discuss world events as well as the joys and worries we have in our day-to-day life. From experience I find I get on best with penpals around my age, but of course this is the exception that proves the rule. I'm married and not looking for a partner, just good friends with whom I can exchange mails.
